The Peace Park, the box contains all the names of those known to have died as a result of the A-bomb.







The paper crane. Made by the thousand and hung to remember those that died. This happened after a young girl named Sadako believed she would not die from the radiation if she made 1000 cranes, according to the legend. She died after reaching 644. So in her memory and all the other childrens, thousands of cranes can be found at the Peace Park all year round.
